Job Title: Software Development Expert

Join our team as a skilled software development expert, working on creating innovative solutions for Android devices.

As a key member of our team, you will work closely with our design team to own major features and deliver high-quality results.

  • Owning and maintaining reliability metrics for key features
  • Participating in discussions across different teams - Product, Design, Engineering
  • Reviewing pull requests and supporting other teammates
Responsibilities:

Our ideal candidate should have 5+ years of software engineering experience, familiarity with Android components, and experience building or contributing to at least one Android app.

They should also have product design intuition, user empathy, and a drive to push the boundaries of Android UI/UX.

Additionally, they should understand the importance of tests and how to approach writing tests, and have rock-solid experience with Kotlin, Kotlin Coroutines, Kotlin Flow, Dagger 2, MVVM, Clean Architecture, Background Services, Music Player Service, Android Animations, Jetpack Navigation, and JUnit tests.

Excellent communication skills and a user-oriented problem-solving approach are essential for this role.

  • Experience building, maintaining, or otherwise contributing to open-source projects in Android
  • Experience with iOS, Web, or NodeJS
