Android Software Engineering Position

This role involves owning major features, collaborating with design teams, and delivering high-quality results.

Responsibilities:
  • Owning significant feature sets and working closely with our design team to drive innovation.
  • Contributing to the development of Android-based products.
  • Improving reliability metrics for key features.
  • Collaborating across product, design, and engineering teams.
  • Reviewing code changes and supporting colleagues.
  • Addressing critical issues and adapting to unexpected challenges.
  • Ensuring smooth feature releases and providing timely builds for QA teams.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 5 years of software engineering experience.
  • Familiarity with Android components.
  • Experience in building or contributing to at least one Android app.
  • Product design intuition and user empathy.
  • Drive to push the boundaries of Android UI/UX.
  • Understanding of testing principles and test writing.
  • Self-drive to enhance the app and codebase beyond specifications.
  • Proficiency in Kotlin, Kotlin Coroutines, Kotlin Flow, Dagger 2, MVVM, Clean Architecture, Background Services, Music Player Service, Android Animations, Jetpack Navigation, JUnit tests.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • User-oriented problem-solving approach.
  • Continuous feedback-driven performance.
