Seeking a seasoned Compliance Leader to oversee investment banking transactions and ensure regulatory compliance.

This senior role provides strategic guidance on corporate finance and investment banking deals, guaranteeing adherence to relevant laws and regulations.

Main responsibilities include:

  • Approving corporate advisory mandates;
  • Providing compliance support to staff members on laws, regulations, and policies;
  • Identifying, recording, reviewing, and escalating material conflicts and issues;
  • Advising on employee conflict of interest disclosures;
  • Implementing processes to mitigate risks and reputational damage;
  • Delivering comprehensive compliance training across the investment banking business.

Ideal candidates will have:

  • At least 10 years of experience in investment banking;
  • In-depth knowledge of Australian regulatory requirements;
  • Background in compliance, law, or risk management;
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills;
  • Australian employment rights.

A successful candidate will possess strong analytical skills, be able to convey complex ideas effectively, and perform well under pressure.
