Power Infrastructure Business Development Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking a results-driven Power Infrastructure Business Development Manager to join our team. As a key member of our business development team, you will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, building trusted relationships with clients and stakeholders, and developing strategies to increase project pipelines, conversions, and profitability.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Identify, Pursue, and Convert New Business Opportunities: Conduct market research, promote our services, and develop win strategies and proposals to secure new projects.
  2. Build and Maintain Relationships: Foster strong relationships with new and existing clients, including regulated, non-regulated, and private entities, to drive business growth and expansion.
  3. Translate Vision into Action: Translate our vision and growth objectives into actionable plans, ensuring alignment with company goals and strategic direction.
  4. Create Market and Project Pursuit Plans: Develop comprehensive market and project pursuit plans to expand our project pipeline and market presence.
  5. Support Pre-contracts and Estimating Functions: Define and present our value proposition, negotiate contracts, and close deals to drive revenue growth.
  6. Conduct Market Analysis: Gather industry intelligence, monitor competitor activities, and conduct market analysis to inform business decisions.
  7. Lead and Influence Internal Teams: Lead and influence internal teams to ensure alignment and address client needs effectively.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Deep Industry Knowledge: In-depth understanding of the energy infrastructure sector in ANZ, with an established industry network and reputation.
  • Leadership Ability: Strong leadership ability, effective communication, and influencing skills, with strong presentation capabilities.
  • Industry Standards Compliance: Knowledge of power industry standards and compliance requirements.
  • Growth Mindset: A growth mindset with a proven track record of converting opportunities into successful outcomes.
  • Relevant Qualifications: Relevant tertiary qualifications or technical skills related to construction and energy infrastructure development.
