We are seeking an accomplished Lead Data Scientist to join our analytics team. As a key member of our data science practice, you will be responsible for driving the development and implementation of cutting-edge AI and machine learning solutions.
- As a senior data scientist, you will lead the design and execution of complex data science projects from end-to-end.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and implement AI-driven solutions.
- Develop and deploy production-grade AI/machine learning models in cloud-based and on-prem platforms.
To succeed in this role, you must have:
- Advanced technical skills in data science or statistical modeling, preferably within retail banking or financial services.
- Experience working with big data platforms, such as Hadoop/HDFS, Omnia, and others.
- Knowledge of AI, deep learning, natural language processing, computer vision, large language models, and generative AI.
- A relevant tertiary qualification, e.g., mathematics, statistics, economics, econometrics, computer science, or engineering.
You enjoy tackling exciting and challenging business problems and have an innovation mindset blended with pragmatic thinking. You use commercial thinking and analytically driven results to formulate new ideas for the business.
