As an analytics professional, you will play a key role in our team's efforts to enhance health and wellness through data-driven insights. We are seeking a highly motivated individual who can contribute to the development of high-quality analytics, forecasts, and reports that support effective decision-making within the Ministry of Health.

About This Role

The Activity Analyst position involves providing timely and insightful analytics, forecasts, and reports that enable the Ministry of Health to make informed decisions about health service provision. The successful candidate will work closely with stakeholders to identify areas for improvement and develop strategic solutions to address these needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Data Analysis: Extracting and cleaning health data from various sources, including electronic health records, to inform business decisions.
  • Statistical Modelling: Conducting statistical analyses to identify trends, risks, and outcomes related to health service delivery.
  • Reporting and Visualisation: Developing clear and concise reports and visualisations to communicate findings to stakeholders.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Meeting with stakeholders to discuss data insights and project goals, ensuring effective collaboration and communication.
About You
  • You will have contemporary knowledge and skills in advanced analytics, activity modelling, forecasting, and casemix theory and practice in health.
  • You will possess conceptual and analytical thinking skills, enabling you to develop innovative solutions to complex analytical and reporting challenges.
  • You will have well-developed oral and written communication skills, allowing you to effectively engage with stakeholders and present findings.
  • You will be able to pursue challenging goals, successfully manage competing priorities, and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • You will possess the capacity to work independently, collaboratively with other professionals, and in a team environment, demonstrating adaptability and flexibility.
