About the Role

You will be responsible for supporting donors throughout their donation process, including:

  • Greeting and interviewing potential donors.
  • Conducting routine blood pressure and haemoglobin tests.
  • Setting up machines, tubing, and collection bags.
  • Inserting and removing needles safely.
  • Providing clinical oversight and guidance to other team members.
  • Managing adverse donor reactions.
  • Monitoring donors post-donation and assisting them in rebooking for future donations.

Requirements

  • Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse.
  • Occasional lifting of up to 22.7kgs.
  • Frequent standing, walking, and bending.
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts on a rotating roster.
