Formwork Carpentry Apprentice

In this role, you will have the opportunity to work on large infrastructure projects in South East Queensland. The apprenticeship is designed to provide hands-on training and mentorship from experienced professionals in the structural and formwork sector.

You will be exposed to various aspects of formwork carpentry, including:

  • Marking out and framing out
  • Laying timbers and joists on frames
  • Constructing decks, columns, lift shafts, and landings
  • Building stairs and walls

Additionally, you will gain exposure to different formwork systems, such as conventional, Peri, and Doka.

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A reliable vehicle and license
  • Two relevant trade references
  • An excellent work ethic and commitment to completing your apprenticeship
  • A White Card

Having experience in civil construction or bridge projects is desirable but not essential.
