Job Description

The Yard Person is responsible for the safe and efficient dispatch of goods to dealers, ensuring a clean and presentable yard area.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform detailing and pre-delivery checks on machines.
  • Inspect delivered machinery for defects and report quality issues.
  • Store machinery and deliveries in an orderly manner.
  • Maintain the yard area, keeping it clean and organized.
  • Unload shipping containers and load/unload truck deliveries.
  • Ensure safe and efficient dispatch of goods to dealers with correct documentation.
  • Adhere to all standards of health and safety at all times.

Requirements:

  • Valid driver's license and class 2 WTR license.
  • Mechanical aptitude.
  • Experience with yard work and storage protocols.
  • Good physical fitness, capable of lifting.
  • Effective communication skills and customer service abilities.
  • Positive attitude and team collaboration skills.
  • Forklift certification preferred.
