Role Overview

This role involves ensuring compliance with relevant standards for signalling and infrastructure projects through safety engineering.

Main Responsibilities
  • Safety engineering delivery for signalling and infrastructure projects.
  • Principal Consultant reporting and system assurance framework management.
  • Risk assessments, planning, execution, and documentation of risk workshops independently.
  • Business development support and proposal writing.
  • Project guidance under Project Director and smaller project management.
  • Scope, schedule, and risk management to deliver quality on time within budget.
Key Requirements
  • 5 to 10 years of experience as a Systems Assurance Consultant or similar in Rail.
  • Degree or equivalent in a relevant engineering discipline.
  • Preferably with railway signalling or related background.
  • Train Control and Protection Systems expertise.
  • Interlocking and Train/Vehicle Detection systems knowledge.
