Job Description

We are seeking a skilled professional to fill the role of EHS Advisor. This is a key position that plays a critical part in ensuring the health, safety and wellbeing of employees and contractors at our facilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant jurisdictional requirements and regulations.
  • Oversee environment, safety and health inductions for all personnel, visitors and contractors.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of policies, plans, procedures and processes.
  • Support the application of risk assessment and control processes.
  • Partner with site leaders and managers to respond to environment, health and safety issues.
  • Promote and coordinate program engagement processes and initiatives.
  • Advise on and support audit programs and inspections.
  • Provide training on environment, health and safety topics.
  • Manage reviews and audits of jurisdiction and subcontractor activities.
  • Compile and report performance metrics.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Strong understanding of environmental, health and safety principles and practices.

Ability to develop and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Ability to analyze and solve problems.

Strong organizational and time management skills.

Knowledge of relevant jurisdictional requirements and regulations.

Experience in conducting workplace assessments and developing action plans.

Understanding of safety data sheet management and storage.

Ability to provide training and support to personnel.

Experience in managing records and reporting performance metrics.

Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
