Feedlot Administrator

We're seeking an experienced Feedlot Clerk to join our administration team in a key role that supports the smooth operation of our feedlots.

This is an exciting opportunity for a detail-oriented and organised individual to work closely with our Administration Supervisor and contribute to the success of our business.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of administrative tasks, including reception duties, weighbridge operations, data entry, invoice generation and general office duties.

Responsibilities

• Reception duties: answering phone calls, greeting visitors and handling general inquiries;
• Weighbridge operations: ensuring accurate and efficient weighing of cattle;
• Data entry: recording commodity receivals, movements and sales;
• Invoice generation: preparing and processing invoices for commodity and cattle sales;
• General office duties: maintaining stationery, ordering supplies and performing other administrative tasks as required;
• Other duties as directed by the Administration Supervisor.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• Solid knowledge of accounts payable and receivable;
• Sound knowledge of weighbridge procedures;
• Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office, Word and Excel;
• Demonstrated sound communication skills, both verbal and written;
• Ability to handle and prioritise multiple information streams;
• Reception and customer service skills;
• Sound record-keeping skills to ensure accurate database maintenance;
• Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
