About The OpportunityAs a Registered Nurse, you will be an advocate for our residents using your passion to make a difference in their lives. You will provide high quality clinical care including completing holistic assessments developing appropriate care plans and evaluating and determining clinical decisions that guide our care staff.
Responsibilities- Provide high quality clinical care to residents including holistic assessments care planning and clinical decision-making to guide care staff
- Lead and mentor nursing and care staff on best practice and care services
- Perform daily clinical monitoring and reviews including specialised responsibilities
- Complete audits and ensure compliance tasks
- Resident assessments and reviews working closely with RNs on the floor and the Clinical Manager among other leadership responsibilities
You will need:
- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
- Ideally experience within aged care
- Ability to communicate effectively with residents families and all levels of staff
- At least 3 years of experience working in aged care setting as an RN in charge
- Ability to perform daily clinical monitoring and review including specialised responsibilities
- Mentoring and leading nurses and care staff
- Training and education for our staff
- Remuneration as per EBA and experience
The successful applicants must complete a National Police Check provide proof of Flu COVID-19 Vaccination and possibly complete a NDIS Worker Screen.
