Our client is a global aerospace company with a reputation for quality, technical excellence, and servicing customers worldwide. They are currently seeking an Aircraft Maintenance Technician to join their team in Adelaide.

About the Role:

  • Perform troubleshooting and regular system inspections for aero engine (PT6A/TPE331) maintenance.
  • Maintain systems and equipment in accordance with OEM documentation and airworthiness requirements, ensuring compliance with regional safety regulations.
  • Record job progress and maintenance worksheets accurately.
  • Use gauges and diagnostic tests to detect malfunctions.
  • Repair or replace broken parts using power and hand tools.
  • Achieve team goals and deliver high-quality service to the customer.
  • Analyze technical procedures and schematic engineering to identify opportunities for improvement.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Academic background in Aircraft Maintenance Engineering, Mechanical, or related disciplines.
  • 2 years' experience or above in aero engine and PT6A engine experience is mandatory.
  • Comprehensive engine overhaul knowledge and experience is highly desirable.
  • High level of accuracy and ability to read and interpret technical manuals.
  • Demonstrable knowledge of engine strip, detailed inspection, and assembly.
  • Solid experience in preventative and corrective maintenance actions within airworthiness rules and regulatory requirements.
