Job Description

Wembley Downs Primary School is seeking a skilled Gardener - Handyperson to join their team on a permanent part-time basis. This role involves maintaining and presenting the school grounds and gardens in an attractive, clean and tidy condition.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide gardening, grounds and facility management to ensure a safe and clean school environment.
  • Maintain and present the school grounds and gardens in an attractive, clean and tidy condition.
  • Perform minor repairs and maintenance as requested.
  • Develop and maintain good working relationships with staff and external stakeholders.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A valid Working With Children Check.
  • Consent to a screening clearance check by the Department of Education's Screening Unit before starting work.
  • Be an Australian or New Zealand citizen, permanent resident or have a valid visa with relevant work rights for the term of the appointment.
