About Our Engineering Team

Our company is a leading provider of innovative technology solutions for the mining industry.

We are seeking a highly skilled DevOps Engineer to join our team in Perth, Australia.

This role will involve ensuring the scalability, security, and performance of our development and deployment environments.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and automation tools.

They will also possess excellent collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Maintaining and enhancing cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure-as-Code practices
  • Designing, implementing, and managing CI/CD pipelines
  • Integrating security practices into the CI/CD pipeline
  • Developing tools to monitor cloud spend and enforce budget-aware practices
  • Collaborating with software development teams to streamline build, deployment, and monitoring
  • Automating operational tasks and improving efficiency
  • Monitoring and optimizing system performance and reliability

Requirements for this position include:

  • Strong previous experience as a DevOps engineer
  • Experience with cloud platforms (Azure or AWS)
  • Proficiency in IaC tools (e.g. Terraform or CloudFormation)
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and container orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)
  • Scripting in Python, Bash, or PowerShell
  • Knowledge of security best practices in DevOps
  • Exposure to mining or resources sector is a bonus
