Role Overview

We are seeking a qualified educator to join our team in Red Hill, ACT. As an educator at Camp Australia, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality childcare services to children aged 5-12.

About the Role
  • Supervise and support a group of primary-aged children during Before School Care and After School Care sessions.
  • Develop and implement engaging, fun, and compliant programs that cater to the needs of each child.
  • Prepare and serve healthy food options for children, promoting healthy eating habits.
  • Nurture positive relationships with children, families, and the school community, ensuring a safe and inclusive environment.
Key Responsibilities
  • Implement educational activities and games that promote learning and development.
  • Engage in active communication with parents and caregivers, keeping them informed about their child's progress and daily activities.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace, adhering to all health and safety regulations.
Requirements
  • Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care or equivalent qualification.
  • Valid Working with Children Check.
  • Current First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis, and Asthma certificates.
  • Availability to work Monday-Friday, 2:40-6 pm, with additional hours during school holidays.
