About the Role

We're seeking an experienced Software Quality Assurance (QA) engineer to join our team as an ICT Systems Test Engineer. This role involves overseeing the testing of software features, leading quality reviews, creating test plans, and collaborating with developers, business analysts, and project managers.

The ideal candidate will have a sound knowledge of cards and payments and experience working with VisionPLUS application. They will also be responsible for identifying emerging technologies, evaluating their applicability to client business goals, and mentoring QA staff.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Developing and implementing test strategies, test plans, and test cases in collaboration with stakeholders
  • Leading quality reviews and ensuring proper configuration management of testware produced
  • Scheduling tests for execution, monitoring, measuring, controlling, and reporting on test progress and product quality status
  • Reviewing and re-evaluating test strategy to adjust for new information, changing risks, shifting priorities, and schedules
  • Mentoring QA staff to ensure they meet technical qualifications required for their positions
  • Assisting in formulating QA standards and best practices, organizational policies, and processes
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience in software testing and quality assurance
  • Strong knowledge of software development lifecycle and best practices
  • Experience in communicating with clients and ability to act as a liaison between QA and development teams
  • Ability to analyze complex situations and manage all variables to achieve optimal solutions
