About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Quality Assurance Manager to join our Sydney-based team. In this role, you will be responsible for leading the quality assurance function, ensuring all finance products meet the highest standards of quality and regulatory requirements. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize testing requirements, and lead the development and implementation of a comprehensive quality strategy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive quality strategy to ensure high-quality products and services that meet customer expectations and regulatory requirements.
  • Lead the quality assurance function, collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize testing requirements.
  • Design, develop, and maintain test plans, test cases, and test scripts to ensure thorough testing of finance products.
  • Implement and maintain a test automation suite integrated with the CI/CD pipeline to support continuous quality improvements.
  • Identify, triage, and manage defects, working closely with stakeholders, product managers, developers, and software engineers to ensure effective resolution.
  • Participate in planning, guidance, and execution of user acceptance testing and other testing activities.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry best practices and trends in QA and testing, driving continuous improvement in testing processes within the team.

Qualifications and Experience:

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in software testing and quality assurance (software engineering experience also considered).
  • Strong understanding of automated testing tools, frameworks, and processes (e.g., Cypress, Selenium, TestRail).
  • Experience with programming and scripting languages (e.g., JavaScript, C#, Java).
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot and debug complex issues.

Salary Estimate: $120,000 - $150,000 per annum, depending on experience.
