Job Overview:

A critical position exists within our warehouse operations for a skilled Storeperson to manage stock movements efficiently, ensuring workplace health and safety requirements are met. This role requires an individual with strong organizational skills and customer-focused approach to liaise daily with customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Daily liaison with customers to ensure timely responses to requests
  • Receiving, checking, and allocating large volumes of incoming stock
  • Picking, labelling, and packing orders for dispatch
  • Loading and unloading stock from trucks and vehicles
  • Controlling all stock movements through periodic stock checks and stock takes
  • Maintaining a clean, neat, and orderly warehouse environment

Requirements:

  • At least 2 years of proven experience in warehousing/distribution
  • Full valid Driver's License required
  • Forklift license necessary
  • Excellent numeracy, literacy, and communication skills
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and work under pressure to meet deadlines
