Job DescriptionWe are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our clinical team at Swinburne Health Service. The successful candidate will provide high-level clinical support in emergency and clinical care, establish and run nurse-led clinics, and participate in various presentations and events supporting health education and health promotion programs.
Required Skills and QualificationsTo be suitable for this role, you will need to have:
- Excellent triage and clinical assessment/treatment skills, including emergency first aid and procedures;
- Experience in running nurse-led clinics, such as sexual health clinics and immunisation clinics;
- Responsible leadership in managing a portfolio within the practice, including infection prevention and control;
- Assisting with procedures and wound management, including spirometry and iron infusions;
- Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills, fostering therapeutic relationships and promoting patient engagement and empowerment;
- Organisational skills, with the ability to work autonomously but also collaboratively within the Swinburne Health Service multi-disciplinary team;
- Understanding of Accreditation Standards and requirements;
- Knowledge and experience using medical software, including Best Practice;
- Experience in working with young adults from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds.
The successful candidate will enjoy a competitive salary package, estimated to be around $80,000-$110,000 per annum, depending on experience. In addition to a comprehensive salary, we offer flexible working hours, opportunities for professional development, and a supportive work environment.
