About the Role

We're seeking a highly skilled and creative Social Media Specialist to join our team at the Cotton On Group. As a Social Media Specialist, you will be responsible for creating brand awareness and connecting with our customers through our social channels. You will coordinate and manage social media platforms for our brands and play a vital role in the day-to-day operating rhythm of the marketing department.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement social media strategies to increase brand awareness and engagement
  • Coordinate and manage social media platforms for our brands, including content creation and scheduling
  • Monitor and analyze social media metrics to inform future content and marketing strategies
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure social media content aligns with overall marketing goals
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest social media trends and best practices

Requirements

  • Degree or qualification in Marketing, Advertising, or a related field
  • Demonstrated experience in a PR, Marketing, or Advertising role
  • Proven skills in analyzing data and reports relating to customer reach and engagement
  • Experience working with omni-channel platforms
  • Understanding of Web Analytics platforms and data analysis tools
  • Confident decision-making skills that will impact the success of our customer reach
  • A high level of planning, organization, and time management skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, copywriting skills are highly regarded
  • Proven ability in managing day-to-day operations within a marketing department
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to confidently communicate with all departments and management levels
