Job Opportunity: Food Preparation Assistant

We are seeking a diligent and customer-focused individual to join our kitchen team as a Food Preparation Assistant.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with meal preparation, cooking, and serving in a fast-paced kitchen environment
  • Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the kitchen and dining areas
  • Support stock control and ordering processes
  • Provide exceptional customer service to residents and staff
  • Participate in general cleaning duties as required

Requirements and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Certification in Commercial Cookery (or equivalent)
  • Food Handling and Safety certification (HLTFSE001 preferred)
  • National Police Clearance
  • Current COVID-19 Vaccination and Seasonal Influenza Vaccination
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team
  • Previous experience in a similar role is highly regarded
