Key Account Development Specialist

This role will see you having direct customer contact with an existing customer base and also a proactive role in identifying new customers. The primary goal is to make our customers more productive, safe and sustainable.

Responsibilities
  • Developing and implementing effective account strategies to build long-term, profitable relationships with customers.
  • Building strong relationships through regular communication and site visits.
  • Managing time and territory efficiently to optimize client potential and sales productivity.
  • Representing the company as a Hilti Champion, providing technical knowledge and expertise to customers.
  • Utilizing Salesforce to track progress and record interactions.
Requirements
  • Experience working within the construction and facade industry is advantageous.
  • Tertiary qualification in engineering or architecture is highly desirable.
  • Previous experience as an Account Manager, Sales Representative or customer-facing role.
  • Solution selling and customer-centric approach.
  • A valid Australian drivers license.
  • Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM is desirable.
  • Motivated and capable of working independently, managing own call cycle.
  • Strong discipline, ability to manage accounts remotely and build relationships.
  • Proven negotiation and influencing abilities with advanced planning skills.
