Overview of the Role:
Our company is seeking an Executive Accounts Manager to join their team. This role will play a pivotal part in growing our business' client base.
The successful candidate will be responsible for developing plans to grow our business across the QLD market, working with key division managers to strategically identify and develop business targets, analysing market needs and trends to identify potential new business, sourcing sales and business opportunities, conducting product presentations to new and existing clients, promoting, selling and managing orders from new and existing clients, developing, implementing and maintaining a customer relations program, establishing and maintaining contact with new and existing clients on a regular basis, assisting customers with product queries, specification, and technical information, and weekly and monthly reporting with business activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop plans to grow the business across the QLD market
- Work with key division managers to strategically identify and develop business targets
- Analyse market needs and trends to identify potential new business
- SOURCE SALES AND BUSINESS OPPORTUNITIES
- Conduct product presentations to new and existing clients
- Promote, sell and manage orders from new and existing clients
- Develop, implement and maintain a customer relations program
- Establish and maintain contact with new and existing clients on a regular basis
- Assist customers with product queries, specification, and technical information
- Weekly and monthly reporting with business activities
Qualifications:
- Sound experience in a sales capacity with a desire to build clientele and drive sales
- Knowledge of the commercial trade will be beneficial but is not essential if you have a desire and passion to learn about the industry
- Knowledge of plumbing supplies
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to liaise with people on all levels
- Superb organisational skills with the ability to manage workload and prioritise tasks
- Thorough attention to detail
- A team player who can also work well unsupervised
- Punctuality and work commitment
- Problem solving and the ability to think on your feet
- The ability to think outside the square
