Senior Marine Capability Developer

The position oversees the capability and development function in a marine emergency service. Key responsibilities include:
- Developing, implementing, and delivering best practice strategies and frameworks.
- Providing strategic advice on findings and recommendations from inquiries and other relevant avenues.
- Managing projects and coordinating capability development, including identifying community awareness initiatives.
- Conducting high-level research and critical analysis to assess hazard, risks, and community resilience.
- Preparing reports and providing presentations on capability development projects.
- Representing the organization and managing liaison with stakeholders in program and project development.
- Building partnerships and networks with internal and external stakeholders.
Additional responsibilities include leading a multi-disciplinary team and providing guidance and support to staff through performance planning, training, and review.
The successful candidate will have excellent leadership and communication skills, as well as strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
