About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance and Reliability Manager to join our team at Noumi Limited. As a key member of our Engineering department, you will be responsible for leading and managing the maintenance and reliability programs across our Nutritionals & Services plants.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage the planning and scheduling of all plant and equipment maintenance to ensure optimal efficiency and productivity.
  • Directly manage the activities of the Nuts & Services reliability team to resolve breakdowns quickly and to root cause, carry out improvement projects, and improve output and cost of production.
  • Manage the overall maintenance budget to ensure value and benefit for expenditure.
  • Mentor and provide safety leadership to your team to ensure a safe and healthy work environment.
  • Ensure the site maintains legislative compliance and oversees all maintenance purchasing functions to reduce cost of purchased spares.
  • Provide structure and direction to the team to maintain a continuous improvement attitude and drive technical training.
  • Support the Op X program, coaching and mentoring Maintenance leads & developing skills of Maintenance staff aligned with DMS.
  • Support the UHT reliability program when the UHT RM is absent.
Requirements
  • Engineering or Trade Qualified with minimum 5 years' experience in Food Manufacturing.
  • 3 years manufacturing experience in Nutritional Plants & Services, highly desirable.
  • Deep understanding of CMMS, stores inventory, and reliability best practice.
  • A history of Continuous improvement experience.
  • Ability to fault find technical problems and coach/mentor reliability technicians.
  • Strong communication, written, and planning skills.
  • Strong ability to work cross-functionally and build rapport across various stakeholder groups.
  • Ability to multi-task with competing priorities.
  • Familiarity with GMP manufacturing, preferably within a Dairy or Food Manufacturing environment.
