- Effective clinical communication skills, including information technology, written and verbal means, and interpersonal skills, are necessary for success.
- Evidence-based practice and critical thinking are crucial for advocating for individualized woman-centered care and promoting quality improvement.
- Supervisory, delegating, and negotiating skills are required to deliver quality midwifery care, with a willingness to show leadership and adapt to change.
- Recent clinical experience relevant to the position, along with evidence of professional development, is expected.
- Ability to prioritize and organize workload effectively, delivering care with integrity and accountability, is essential.
- Salary packaging options include up to $9k for living expenses and $2.6k for meals and entertainment.
