We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Policy and Project Officer to join our team at the Department of Premier and Cabinet. As a key member of our Community Partnerships and Priorities team, you will play a critical role in providing sound policy advice on processes and programs within Aboriginal Heritage Tasmania.
Key Responsibilities- Contribute to the development, review, and implementation of legislation, policy, and procedures related to Aboriginal cultural heritage management.
- Provide expert advice on processes and programs within Aboriginal Heritage Tasmania.
- Research, analyze, and assess proposals related to the management and conservation of Aboriginal cultural heritage values.
- Liaise with stakeholders, including other government agencies, community groups, and interest groups.
- Represent the Department in various forums and meetings.
- Manage projects, coordinate project teams, and supervise staff as required.
- Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline.
- Current Tasmanian Working with Vulnerable People Registration.
- A current motor vehicle driver's license.
