ICT Release Manager Job

We are seeking a skilled ICT Release & Deployment Specialist to oversee the strategic planning, coordination, and governance of technology releases across enterprise platforms.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and manage integrated release calendars, coordinating activities with business units, delivery teams, and technical groups.
  • Facilitate strategic planning forums, deployment readiness assessments, and go/no-go decision-making processes.
  • Enhance and standardize release processes, frameworks, and documentation, including templates, checklists, and runbooks.
  • Promote repeatable, auditable, and automated release practices.
  • Provide oversight of releases within large ICT programs, ensuring compliance with security, architecture, and operational standards.
  • Collaborate with program managers to assess risks, dependencies, and impacts.
  • Contribute to governance forums and align releases with enterprise ICT strategy.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to senior executives, clearly communicating complex scheduling matters.
  • Support and coach delivery teams on release management best practices.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Proven track record managing enterprise-level release cycles in complex ICT environments.
  • Experience in uplifting frameworks, tools, and documentation standards.
  • Strong knowledge of Agile, Waterfall, and Hybrid delivery models and enterprise change processes.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence executives and multidisciplinary teams.
  • Analytical and structured thinking with a focus on risk, assurance, and performance metrics.
  • Ability to align interdependent delivery streams across large programs.
