Our organization is looking for a talented Product Owner to join our team. As a Product Owner, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional outcomes for our business stakeholders and customers.The role involves working closely with the business to develop and deliver data delivery capabilities for the Payments Domain. This includes the delivery of new data, modernization of existing data capabilities, and development of the strategic roadmap for future state data delivery.Key Responsibilities:
  • Define the product vision, goals, and roadmap aligned with the Payments Domain objectives and purpose.
  • Develop and design data engineering solutions for products and platforms to address identified needs or opportunities and build and prioritize the squad backlog in collaboration with key stakeholders.
  • Lead and develop a squad of team members including data engineers, quality engineers, and BAs, creating a psychologically safe, inclusive, accountable, and high-performance culture.
  • Identify risk, dependencies, and issues for the squad in line with excellent management of operational risk and compliance outcomes.
  • Stay abreast of external market trends – regulatory, economics, and innovation.
  • Build and foster strong relationships across the product value chain, including Chief Data Office, Retail Technology, Compliance, and Finance, leading virtual teams to ensure efficient delivery of strategic initiatives and resolution of issues.
We are seeking an experienced Product Owner with a data engineering background. Experience with the following will help you succeed in the role:
  • Adept at defining and driving technology roadmaps and execute relevant strategies within the domain or reference architecture and help foster an excellent engineering culture that is open, safe, productive, and fun for everyone.
  • Advanced commercial acumen and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Advanced communication and influencing skills.
  • Advanced analytical and problem-solving capability with advanced delivery skills.
  • Exposure to Ab Initio, Alation, Omnia, and Teradata.
