Orthopaedic Surgery Registrar

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Orthopaedic Surgery Registrar to join our team at the Women's and Children's Health Network. As a key member of our Surgical Services team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality clinical care to our patients, working closely with our consultant surgeons and other healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities- Contribute to the provision of clinical services to WCHN inpatients and outpatients under consultant supervision.
- Demonstrate a commitment to clinical teaching and participate in associated research projects.
- Operate a Fluoroscope if licencing can be obtained.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Bachelor of Medicine; Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) or equivalent, registrable with the Medical Board of Australia as a Medical Practitioner with General Registration.
- Extensive clinical experience and competence in the practice of Orthopaedic Surgery.
- Minimum 4 years satisfactory experience as an Intern/Resident Medical Officer/Registrar in a recognised teaching hospital and some experience as an Advanced Trainee.
- Understanding of both the rights and responsibilities of patients and their families.
- Broad knowledge in the chosen field of orthopaedics.
- The physical ability to meet position expectations and requirements.
