Job Description

This is a fantastic opportunity for a GP to take on a leadership role and work with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to ensure coordinated and holistic patient care. You will be responsible for providing assessment, treatment, and follow-up care to patients in the transitional phase, as well as supporting and supervising Nursing and allied health staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide supervisory medical care to patients in the transitional phase, including assessment, treatment, and follow-up.
  • Collaborate with the multidisciplinary healthcare team to ensure coordinated and holistic patient care.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records and documentation.
  • Support and supervise Nursing and allied health staff.
  • Participate in clinical meetings, case conferences, and quality improvement initiatives.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A medical degree from a recognised institution.
  • Full registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
  • Vocational registration trained GP (e.g. RACGP).
  • Demonstrated clinical competence and experience in a hospital or similar setting.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and colleagues.
  • Commitment to continuous professional development and quality improvement.
Estimated Salary

The estimated salary for this role is around $150,000 - $200,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
