About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Support Practitioner Identified to join our team in delivering culturally safe and tailored support to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children, young people, and families.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement culturally sensitive programs that promote healing, resilience, and well-being among our clients.
  • Build strong partnerships with local agencies, carers, and families to create sustainable support networks.
  • Conduct assessments and provide case management services with sensitivity and compassion.
Requirements:
  • Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander identity (a genuine occupational requirement).
  • Degree qualification in social work, psychology, or a related field, or equivalent level of expertise.
  • Knowledge of child protection frameworks and out-of-home care practices.
  • A current driver's licence and Working with Children certificate are also required.
