Job Title: Strategic Merchandise CoordinatorWe are seeking an experienced professional to lead our Planning team in Sydney. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to develop seasonal merchandise strategies, manage a team of planning specialists, and implement best practices to drive business growth.The successful candidate will have extensive experience in senior planning roles, ideally with a focus on accessories, homewares, general merchandise, or apparel. They will also possess exceptional numerical skills, including accuracy and interpretation, as well as the ability to manage relationships at all levels.
  • Develop seasonal merchandise strategies to enhance performance
  • Manage and lead the Planning Team to achieve critical financial targets
  • Prepare and present company budgets for sign-off
  • Work closely with Product teams through ranging processes
  • Control Markdown budget to ensure Total Company markdowns are within agreed levels
  • Achieve high stock turn, sales, and sell-through rates
Key qualifications include:
  • Initiative to identify potential problems or challenges early and resolution skills to implement solutions
  • Extensive years of planning experience, ideally in a senior position
  • Experience managing a team of 3 direct reports or more
  • Highly skilled in planning software and Excel knowledge
  • Ability to manage relationships at all levels
