Mechanical Tradesperson

**Job Overview**

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mechanical Tradesperson to join our team in maintaining and repairing plant rotating and fixed equipment at the Northern Water Treatment Plant.

The successful applicant will have extensive experience working in a heavy industrial environment, with expertise in maintaining and repairing pumps, mixers, mechanical seals, and other rotating equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain, repair, and overhaul Pumps, Mixers, Mechanical seals and other rotating equipment and plant systems.
• Ensure personnel, plant, and environmental safety is prioritized.
• Perform tasks allocated by supervisor, including replacing bearings, mechanical seals, and pump alignments.
• Communicate hazards, issues, or faults to maintain smooth operations.
• Complete all required documentation for completed tasks.
