Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Graduate Teacher to join our team at the State Government of Victoria, Australia. As a Graduate Teacher, you will be responsible for teaching and mentoring students in English and Humanities, and contributing to the development of our school community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teaching and Mentoring: Plan and deliver high-quality teaching programs to students in English and Humanities, and provide guidance and support to students as needed.
  • Classroom Management: Establish and maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment, and manage student behavior to ensure a safe and productive learning space.
  • Assessment and Reporting: Develop and implement assessment strategies to evaluate student learning, and provide regular feedback to students and parents.
  • Professional Development: Participate in ongoing professional development to enhance teaching skills and knowledge, and contribute to the development of school policies and programs.
Requirements
  • Qualifications: A Bachelor of Education or equivalent qualification, and current registration with the Victorian Institute of Teaching.
  • Experience: Recent graduates or those with limited teaching experience, who are eager to develop their skills and knowledge in a supportive and collaborative environment.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work effectively with students, parents, and colleagues.
