Graduate Teacher Program

We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Graduate Teacher to join our team at the State Government of Victoria, Australia. As a Graduate Teacher, you will play a vital role in shaping the educational journey of our students and contributing to the development of our school community.
Key Responsibilities- Teaching and Learning: Plan and implement a range of teaching programs or courses of study, teaching an area of the curriculum or a general curriculum to a year level, and monitoring, evaluating, and reporting student progress in key learning areas.
- Student Management: Implement effective student management consistent with the school charter and work with a mentor to participate in professional development planning, implementation, and reflection, developing a professional portfolio.
- Collaboration and Communication: Contribute to a range of co-curricular programs and work collaboratively with students, parents, colleagues, and the broader school community to support student learning, wellbeing, and engagement.
- Qualifications: Have completed their course requirements and graduated in the last 4 years, and be currently registered or eligible for registration with the Victorian Institute of Teaching.
- Experience: Not be employed as a teacher by the Department at the time the advertised position is to commence.
