The University of Southern Queensland seeks a highly skilled Senior Lecturer to lead its Social Work and Human Services Field Education Unit. Job DescriptionSocial Work and Human Services Field Education Unit Leader
This key role involves coordinating and overseeing field education for Social Work and Human Services programs, building industry partnerships to secure high-quality placements for students, and integrating industry knowledge into teaching and research efforts.
The successful candidate will also be responsible for designing and delivering online and on-campus courses, including placement courses, and collaborating with other academics to ensure a practice-oriented approach to student learning.
In this position, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the Discipline's educational offerings and contributing to the development of our students' skills and knowledge.
Requirements- Membership of or eligibility for membership with the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW)
- A doctoral qualification or equivalent accreditation and standing in the field of Social Work and Human Services
- Demonstrated experience in teaching and facilitating field placements for students
- High-level communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships
We offer a competitive total remuneration package of $156,562 to $179,946 per annum, including salary range of $132,287 to $152,045 per annum, employer superannuation contributions of 17%, and annual leave loading.
