Security Engineering Leadership Opportunity

This is a critical leadership role in our security engineering team. The Security Engineering Manager will be responsible for leading and developing a team of engineers, providing technical guidance on vulnerability remediation, driving the development of new security engineering projects, and working with upstream open source projects on vulnerability lifecycle handling.

The successful candidate will have an exceptional academic track record, drive, excellent verbal and written communication skills, a love of developing and growing people, and a solid background in software development including expertise in support and maintenance. They will also have mastery in any programming language, knowledge and passion for software and application security, solid experience working in an agile development environment, and a demonstrated drive for continual learning.

About This Role
  • Lead and develop a team of engineers to address emerging threats and secure the open source ecosystem for community and enterprise use.
  • Provide technical guidance on vulnerability remediation to ensure the highest level of security.
  • Drive the development of new security engineering projects to improve the overall security posture of our products.
  • Work with upstream open source projects to handle vulnerability lifecycles and ensure timely remediation.
Requirements
  • Undergraduate degree in Computer Science or STEM, or a compelling narrative about your alternative path.
  • Exceptional academic track record from both high school and university.
