**Job Summary**

You will provide high-quality prosecution services, including the provision of legal advice to professionals on matters before various courts. The position requires supervision of subordinate staff and maintaining effective working relationships with law enforcement agencies and the community.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide a professional prosecution service for the area of responsibility.
  • Monitor the provision of evidence by police for use in trials to ensure quality is maintained.
  • Liaise with law enforcement agencies, the legal profession, government agencies, and the community to achieve desired outcomes.
  • Take a lead role in developing and providing quality research, arguments, submissions, opinions, and advice.
  • Manage resources efficiently to achieve operational goals.
  • Establish and maintain high standards of performance and conduct in daily work activities.

Requirements:

  • Mandatory: Admission as a legal practitioner in the State of Queensland or eligibility for immediate admission.
