Physiotherapy Opportunity in Ballina

BaptistCare is seeking a skilled Physiotherapist to join our team in Ballina and surrounding areas. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will deliver evidence-based physiotherapy assessment and intervention to our clients under Aged Care Funding.

About the Role

This role involves delivering physiotherapy services to promote independence and restore functional ability to enable clients to remain living at home. You will work closely with other healthcare professionals to provide holistic care and support.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assess physiotherapy needs and develop individualised programs for aged care clients within the community.
  • Provide evidence-based physiotherapy interventions to promote independence and restore functional ability.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide holistic care and support.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, families, and other healthcare professionals.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must possess:

  • A Degree in Physiotherapy with current registration.
  • Proven ability to assess physiotherapy needs and develop individualised programs for aged care clients.
  • Postgraduate experience working across diverse aged care services, including community-based settings.
  • Thorough knowledge of health and wellbeing frameworks, including reablement and restorative care models.
  • Demonstrated capability to operate effectively both as part of a multidisciplinary team and independently.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient in computer literacy, with a willingness to utilise required software to facilitate remote work.
  • Commitment to understanding and upholding BaptistCare's values through professional interactions.
  • A current first aid certificate or willingness to obtain one.
  • A valid unrestricted driver's licence and access to a reliable vehicle with minimum Third-Party Property Damage Insurance.
