Team Lead Position

This is a supervisory role within our organization, responsible for overseeing the Mowing team and ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and to a high standard.

  • The successful candidate will serve as a key liaison with internal and external stakeholders, including the public and contractors.
  • They will oversee safety management and be part of the on-call roster.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise the Mowing team and ensure tasks are completed on time.
  • Collaborate with the Coordinator Works to plan and allocate tasks.
  • Maintain Council vehicles and machinery.
  • Enforce Work Health and Safety regulations.
  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Assist with on-call duties and other tasks as required.

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated experience in leading and managing people.
  • Qualifications and/or experience in turf management.
  • C Class Driver's Licence (MR/HR desirable).
  • Strong communication, management, and organisational skills.
  • Knowledge of Work Health and Safety regulations.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team.
  • Australian working rights and National Police Clearance (or ability to obtain).
  • Will to undergo a pre-employment medical.
