Backend Software Engineer Opportunity
  • This is a chance to work on a high-growth data infrastructure platform.

We are seeking an experienced software engineer to join our team and contribute to the development of scalable, data-driven experiences. This role offers the opportunity to work on a cutting-edge platform that empowers go-to-market teams with rich, real-time data.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in software engineering, with experience in developing sophisticated distributed web applications. They will be comfortable working with Java, Python, AWS, DBT, and Snowflake, and will have a good understanding of computer science and object-oriented engineering fundamentals.

A key aspect of this role is the ability to work collaboratively as part of a platform team, partnering across Product, Marketing, and Sales to unlock scalable, data-driven experiences. The ideal candidate will be able to identify and address performance bottlenecks, participate in design and code reviews, and help to identify and communicate standard practices and methodologies for backend engineering.

To succeed in this role, you will need to have strong written and verbal communication skills, as well as the ability to write clean, reusable code for backend components. Experience with AI in coding/programming is also highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Developing scalable, data-driven experiences for go-to-market teams.
  • Contributing to the development of the core B2B Data Infrastructure platform.
  • Identifying and addressing performance bottlenecks.
  • Participating in design and code reviews.
  • Helping to identify and communicate standard practices and methodologies for backend engineering.

Requirements:

  • Five-plus years of commercial experience developing sophisticated distributed web applications on the JVM.
  • Strong understanding of computer science and object-oriented engineering fundamentals.
  • Experience working with Java, Python, AWS, DBT, and Snowflake.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to write clean, reusable code for backend components.
  • Hands-on experience using AI in coding/programming.
