Backend Developer

We are seeking a skilled software engineer to join our team as a backend developer.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement server-side logic to support seamless integration with front-end components.
  • Develop scalable and secure RESTful and/or GraphQL APIs.
  • Build and maintain synchronous and asynchronous microservices/serverless functions using Node.js and Python.
  • Integrate with cloud, third-party, SaaS or on-premise databases.
  • Manage cloud components utilizing infrastructure as code.
  • Develop and integrate AI and ML workloads within the cloud.
  • Automate CI/CD pipelines and monitor back-end services.
  • Write unit/integration tests, participate in code reviews, and ensure best practices in API design & performance.

Key Requirements:

  • Strong programming skills in Node.js and Python with ability to write clean, maintainable, secure, and testable code.
  • Solid experience with cloud-native architectures and event-driven design.
  • Experience with SPA/PWA front-end integration patterns to back ends.
  • Proficiency in designing RESTful APIs and/or GraphQL endpoints.
  • Experience with authentication protocols (JWT, Oauth2, OIDC, passwordless - WebAuthN, FIDO).
  • Familiarity with DevOps tools and processes (CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code).
  • Strong understanding of data modelling for both SQL and noSQL databases.
  • Sound knowledge of defensive coding practices to address common security vulnerabilities.
