Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced pilot to join our team as a Training and Checking Pilot. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to play a key leadership role in maintaining the highest operational standards within our aviation team.

As a Training and Checking Pilot, you will be responsible for overseeing and delivering flight training and checking programs that ensure safety, compliance, and excellence in all facets of our operations.

You will work closely with the Head of Training and Checking to develop and implement flight training programs that meet the needs of our pilots and support the achievement of our organisational goals.

In this role, you will also be responsible for conducting regular checks on our aircraft to ensure they are airworthy and compliant with regulatory requirements.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in aviation, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • CASA CPL (A) license
  • Current IPC (3 renewals)
  • Minimum 2500 total flight hours
  • Minimum 2000 hours in command
  • 200 hours of night flying experience
  • Able to work independently and as part of a multi-disciplinary team
  • Recent single pilot IFR (within 2 years)
  • Confident decision-making abilities
  • Ability to develop and maintain a learning and safety culture within the organisation
