About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Engineer with minimum NV1 security clearance to join our team at Fujitsu. As a key member of our data solutions team, you will be responsible for investigating enterprise data requirements and designing and implementing data solutions that meet our clients' needs.

Your Responsibilities

  • Investigate enterprise data requirements and plan data modeling and design activities to ensure data solutions meet our clients' needs.
  • Select appropriate techniques and levels of detail for meeting assigned data objectives, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
  • Provide advice and guidance on data structures and associated components, ensuring data is properly stored and managed.
  • Design and implement gateway capabilities, including virtualization and containerized solutions, to ensure secure data transfer and storage.
  • Utilize security hardware and software to ensure the protection and security of data, meeting our clients' security requirements.
  • Contribute to the implementation of data technologies such as Ansible, Bash, Docker, Java, and Kubernetes, ensuring seamless data integration and management.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation for data solutions, ensuring clear and concise communication with stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Minimum NV1 clearance, ideally NV2 or PV.
  • A background in Defence or Federal Government is highly desirable.
  • Strong understanding of data modeling and design principles, ensuring data solutions meet our clients' needs.
  • Proficiency in implementing gateway capabilities, including virtualization and containerized solutions.
  • Experience with data technologies such as Ansible, Bash, Docker, Java, Jenkins, Kubernetes, Apache, and NIFI.
  • Knowledge of security hardware and software for data protection.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, ensuring data solutions meet our clients' needs.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills, working with cross-functional teams to deliver data solutions.
  • Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment, ensuring data solutions meet our clients' needs.
