The Role:
We are seeking a skilled Laboratory Technician and Preparation Sampler to join our team in Blackwater. As a key member of our laboratory, you will be responsible for using specialized equipment to test coal samples or performing manual handling tasks to prepare coal samples. You will also be involved in simulating coal production processes to test the properties of coal samples.
Full training will be provided, and accommodation is available at the mine site. This role is ideal for individuals looking to pursue a career in the industry.
Requirements:
- Physically fit and capable of performing manual handling tasks
- Sound numerical skills
- A methodical and well-organized approach to work
- Reliable and able to work shift work, weekends, and overtime as required
- A QLD C Class manual driver's license and own transport
- Ideal if you have CBM and STD11
Safety is our top priority. Ongoing Drug & Alcohol testing and the ability to meet site inductions will be a requirement of working on site. Must live locally in the Blackwater region. NO FIFO.
