Diagnostic Imaging Specialist

The Diagnostic Imaging Specialist performs a variety of technical procedures that require independent judgment, skill and ingenuity to apply prescribed ionizing radiation for diagnostic purposes.
This role involves working at a technical level with minimal supervision and assumes responsibility for designated areas or procedures as required.
Key Responsibilities- Perform various technical procedures using ionizing radiation for diagnostic imaging.
- Work independently with minimal supervision and assume responsibility for designated areas or procedures.
- Apply current theory and research in the delivery of care consistent with standards and relevant professional organizations.
- Current certification as a Diagnostic Imaging Technologist.
- Registration with relevant regulatory bodies is mandatory.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.
- Ability to work effectively as a member of an interdisciplinary healthcare team.
