Senior Estimating and Pricing Officer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Estimating and Pricing Officer to join our team at BAE Systems Australia. As a key member of our commercial team, you will play a critical role in supporting the delivery of bids and proposals, ensuring that our solutions meet the needs of our customers.
Key Responsibilities- Support the delivery of bids and proposals by working collaboratively with the Bid Team to ensure the delivery of accurate, value-for-money proposals to the Commonwealth of Australia.
- Ensure compliance with commercial processes and procedures by ensuring that all proposals adhere to BAE Systems Australia's E&P Processes and Procedures.
- Provide expert advice and management of Basis of Estimates (BoEs) with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) through each stage of the Bid Life Cycle.
- Assist the bid team with the preparation of Phase Review data, Request for Bid Approval (RBA) data, and Customer Pricing tables.
- Identify and contribute to process improvement initiatives to ensure that our commercial processes are efficient and effective.
- Prior estimating experience is desirable, but not essential. We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced professional who can bring their expertise to our team.

- Strong numerical and analytical skills are essential, as well as the ability to identify potential issues within an estimate and develop solutions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential, as you will be working closely with internal and external stakeholders.
- Proficient user of MS Office skills, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
